Position Summary

Direct the development implementation and maintenance of a fully integrated human resources strategy as Business Partner to the Huber Advance Materials (HAM) leadership team. Also make recommendations on all aspects that align the HAM business structure with the overall organizational strategy. Partner with HAM leadership team in the execution of strategic goals and objectives. Support management of global staff through the continued integration of recent and future acquisitions while also leading succession planning leadership development talent management and talent acquisition strategies. Leads the cultural change process as the business unit executes market facing organization strategy while maintaining and in some cases upgrading the existing workforce.

Promotes Huber Vision and Principles and the desired culture by developing professional and leadership competencies of all business unit employees. The Human Resources leader will be part of the Enterprise Human Resources Leadership Team while supporting the HAM business as a strategic partner. They will help develop and drive key business objectives in this highly collaborative global environment.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Mentor manage and empower a strong leadership team and effectively communicate and collaborate with team members across different cultures countries and time zones.
  • Oversee internal talent assessment career development and succession planning processes and performance management systems to maximize employee contribution and commitment.
  • Direct recruiting processes to ensure optimal success rates in hiring and integrating new employees into the organization.
  • As needed lead the people side of M&A processes by identifying and engaging appropriate resources to conduct due diligence and integration planning.
  • Develop and implement appropriate KPIs metrics scorecards in support of strategic business alignment
  • Proactively strategize on compensation and policies that seek to increase retention rates and foster employee job satisfaction and high morale.
  • Develop maintain and proactively implement effective employee relations and counseling strategies.
  • Partner with other company managers to ensure business decisions are consistent with Huber culture values and philosophies.
  • Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations including state-specific wage and hour requirements affirmative action obligations and regular auditing activities.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
  • 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience including significant leadership and strategic HR responsibilities.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Management or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Manufacturing industry experience required; experience within a global or multinational organization strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams across different locations cultures and time zones.
  • Strong business partnership skills with the ability to build trusted relationships influence senior leaders and effectively navigate complex organizational environments.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and drive organizational change.
  • Strong strategic analytical and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a lean organization.
  • Business and financial acumen including the ability to partner with Finance and business leaders on workforce planning and HR-related budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
  • Collaborative and approachable leadership style with a demonstrated commitment to developing people and building inclusive high-performing teams.
  • Based in Atlanta Georgia with the ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
