We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Global Fixed Assets Manager to lead a global team of Fixed Asset Accountants within the Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization. This role is pivotal in setting team and individual goals to ensure Apples fixed and intangible assets are recorded and reported in line with US and local GAAP. The successful candidate will play an integral role in driving transformative change globally enabling alignment of fixed and intangible asset processes and driving further opportunities for scale efficiency and automation. You will work closely with key business partners and finance teams including Apple Retail Manufacturing and Operations Apple Music TV ISu0026T ISu0026S Corporate Accounting External Reporting Ru0026D AppleCare and Corporate Tax.n

Team Leadership u0026 Development: Manage coach and mentor a team of fixed asset accountants overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development opportunities. Empower the team by delegating responsibility setting clear objectives in line with business needs and expecting Process Transformation: Identify areas for process improvement and drive these initiatives across the global organization focusing on scalability compliance and standardization. Manage associated projects and ensure the integration of changes into day-to-day fixed and intangible asset processes. This includes evaluating and championing the adoption of AI-driven tools and automation to further enhance efficiency accuracy and scalability across fixed and intangible asset processes u0026 Intangible Asset Accounting: Maintain Fixed Asset and Intangible Asset ledgers for Local and US GAAP entities globally. Manage the associated subledgers and their movements including acquisitions retirements impairments intercompany transfers and depreciation/amortization runs ensuring alignment with global policies and accounting -Functional Collaboration u0026 Reporting: Liaise closely with Corporate Accounting External Reporting and other key business partners to ensure accurate financial reporting support comprehensive disclosures and guarantee the seamless alignment of fixed and intangible asset Close: Coordinate and complete month-end quarter-end and year-end closing activities for fixed and intangible assets in accordance with global procedures. Review account reconciliations to ensure adherence to reconciliation Compliance u0026 Inventory: Support and manage all internal and external audit requests. Coordinate and manage physical inventory counts with affiliate partners ensuring strict compliance under both US and local Excellence u0026 Stakeholder Management: Maintain high customer service standards by analyzing and resolving issues identifying trends and recommending system improvements. Deputize for management when required assist with hiring and training and keep leadership updated on team performance.

3-5 years professional experience in accounting finance or similar fieldnAt least 2 years experience of direct management experience nAccounting qualifications such as CPA ACA ACCA SAP knowledge or equivalent ERP communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong business partner problem solving skills and a proactive approach to organizational and administration skills with the ability to anticipate business of strategic projects and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).nThrives working in a fast-paced dynamic environment and ability to adapt to a self-starter who is motivated innovative and ambitious.
