About Arva Intelligence
Arva is a machine learning software-based SaaS company with offices located in Houston TX and Park City UT. Arvas platform was built to apply our novel ML technology to the agricultural industry optimizing and measuring regenerative practices improving crop yields and reducing operational costs for producers. Our platform helps our customers and partners capitalize on natural regenerative practices by providing recommendations that improve environmental and ecological ecosystems. Platform features include practice verification and registration as well as the sale of environmental asset credits to our corporate buyers. Thus Arva is helping to keep the planet green by providing a green-tech platform that informs measures validates and registers carbon exchange opportunities allowing growers and ranchers to produce and sell credits that are bought by our corporate partners who endorse sustainable food supply and carbon neutrality.
As Arva scales its work with global enterprise CPG partners we are seeking an experienced Global Client Partner to own end-to-end client delivery cross-functional coordination and relationship depth across Arvas largest global accounts.
General Position Description
The Global Client Partner (GCP) will own Arvas global CPG accounts day to day accountable for client delivery cross-functional coordination and key relationships. This person will know the client better than anyone else at Arva.
Our clients are large global clients with account management is currently fragmented with no single person truly owning the account. These accounts span multiple internal functions (sales agronomy modeling sustainability reporting product CS/Ops finance and more) and multiple external parties (the clients sustainability and procurement organizations Arvas CPs and the growers behind them). Today that coordination happens in pieces and all parties are starting to feel the seams.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery
- Translates the contract and every side-conversation commitment into one plan of record with named owners and dates.
- Runs the tracker chases it and escalates early the client should never be the one to tell Arva its late.
- Owns the risk register for the account: what could cost Arva this relationship and whats being done about it.
- Serves as the single source of truth on account status internally.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Runs a standing cadence with all cross-functional departments on each account.
- Frames and prioritizes the clients product and roadmap asks so they arrive at Product (or Sustainability CS etc.) as decisions not noise.
- Where a Client Partner is delivering acres against a client program co-owns the plan with the CSM: the Global Client Partner owns the clients expectations the CSM owns the CP relationship.
- Escalates to the reporting manager / leadership forum for a decision within an agreed number of business days when internal teams are over-subscribed and priorities collide (SLA to be defined).
Key Relationships
- Maintains a written account map: who reports to whom real decision makers blockers and champions.
- Stays fluent in the clients public commitments (e.g. Scope 3 / FLAG targets sourcing pledges) fiscal calendar reporting deadlines and the internal dynamics between sustainability and procurement.
- Co-owns the executive sponsor relationship and runs the QBR.
- Stays present and credible with the clients operating teams not just its executives.
Out of Scope
This role does not involve pursuing new logos managing pricing and contract negotiations. The Global Client Partner identifies and nurtures opportunities within its existing accounts and remains present in the process but it does not actively pursue new clients.
Qualifications
- 812 years of experience with meaningful time in a delivery-accountable seat rather than a purely commercial one.
- Experience working with or inside a large CPG organization understands how procurement and sustainability functions behave and that they frequently disagree with each other.
- Credible on the substance: regenerative agriculture practices MRV carbon accounting and what a grower actually does in a season. While not necessarily an agronomist one must possess the ability to provide accurate information.
- Real program-management skills runs a tracker chairs a cross-functional meeting and holds peers to dates without formal authority over them.
- Strong executive presence with the client coupled with a low sense of self-importance regarding credit internally.
- Proactive in acknowledging and expressing a willingness to miss a scheduled date in advance.
- Fluent Spanish is a plus to work with teams in Panama.
- Availability to travel to the US Panama and Malaysia at approximately 50% travel.
What Success Looks Like
Success will be measured across delivery coordination and relationships (assumes a standard bonus structure rather than a bespoke plan):
Delivery
- Committed deliverables land on time with a baseline set in the first 30 days.
- No unresolved client escalation older than an agreed number of days.
- Renewal is secured with revenue retention maintained across the portfolio.
Coordination
- Internal cycle time improves how fast an account question gets a real answer.
- One plan of record exists stays current and is what leadership reviews.
Relationships
- The executive sponsor is actively engaged at each account.
- The account map is current and shared.
- The client is willing to act as a reference.
- The number of live programs divisions and commodities inside each account grows.
Why This Role Matters
As Arvas enterprise CPG relationships grow in size and complexity this role ensures that no single large account is left without a true owner. It provides our client with a one person who is accountable for delivery who runs the internal machine that serves the account and who knows the client better than anyone else at Arva.
Why Join Arva
This is an opportunity to help build the account-management function behind one of the fastest-growing platforms connecting regenerative agriculture with global enterprise sustainability goals and to shape how Arva shows up for its largest most complex clients.
