JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Operates production equipment to produce products in accordance with production requirements and standards.

2. Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions.

3. Completes equipment set-ups in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures.

4. Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed.

5. Inspects equipment prior to use to verify equipment is in good working order.

6. Completes all required job documentation.

7. Maintains work areas in a clean orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas daily.

8. Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.

9. Notifies lead of product discrepancies equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.

REQUIREMENTS:

Basic knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures

Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints

Hand-eye coordination Attention to detail

Ability to read understand and follow safety procedures

Basic math skills

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions

Ability to use hand and power tools

Required to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

May also engage in frequent and repetitive bending lifting stooping squatting pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
