Position Summary
The Gift Intention Coordinator performs functions related to the entryrevisionand workflow of gift intentions processes. This includes reviewing and interpreting gift agreements researchingcreatingand processing new and revised commitments partnering with Cornells development community members and analyzing pledge data year over year ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret donor commitments and record new pledges/adjustments to pledgesin accordance withdonor intent Cornell policies and procedures CASE standards IRSguidelinesand GAAP accounting standards.
Lead management of gift intention team workflow using a ticketing system and shared Outlook mailbox.
In partnership with the gift intention team perform various analysis each quarter or on an ad-hoc basis on pledge activity to ensureaccurateand complete.
Participate and lead from position during upcoming CRM software conversion and any ad-hoc projects.

Required Qualifications
Associatedegree and 4-6 years relevant experience or equivalent combination.
Strong finance and/or accounting principles.
High attention to detail andhigh levelof accuracy; strong research and critical thinking skills; ability to discern and implore professional judgement; ability to work in cases without a predefined roadmap strong ability to collaborate with colleagues across many areas and levels of campus.
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to successfully collaborate and lead from position.
Ability to analyze data and understand processes and procedures.
Work Location
This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Employees typically perform this role remotely 3 days per week and on-campus 2 days per week. The university reserves the right tomodify suspendrevokeorterminatethe hybrid work arrangement at any time.
