Job Summary

Position Summary

LCI is seeking a Giant Voice Technician to provide operations and maintenance support for Giant Voice system hardware software and infrastructure.

Individual must be able to attain and maintain a valid U.S. Government Public Trust security clearance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance as scheduled per manufacturer and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Accomplish troubleshooting repair replacement updates changes and configuration of hardware software and infrastructure to support organizational changes requests issue resolution and emerging technologies per policies and processes.
  • Program configure test and validate system changes per organizational policies/procedures requests and to resolve issues and ensure compliance
  • Update and maintain all logs records and associated technical documentation to include all related system and data updates.
  • Provide support for installations modifications and other projects as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years related experience supporting similar systems and hardware
  • Related OEM manufacturers certifications.
  • Federal agency organization support experience preferred
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to pass a background check and obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).

Skill & Certification Requirements

  • Giant Voice system hardware software and infrastructure programming configuration and support
  • Technical documentation and drawing review and updates
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic testing
  • Telecommunications/cabling
  • Request and ticketing system input/updates
  • Strong customer focus with a proven track record in client-facing environments.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills for documentation and cross-team collaboration.
  • Highly proficient in deploying structured infrastructure troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex network faults.
  • Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards focusing on NFPA 70 and 800 Articles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of TIA/EIA 568 Building Cable Standards.
  • Strict adherence to federal OSHA safety standards across all active work environments.
  • Valid OSHA Confined Space certification.
  • Certified to perform CPR and act as an authorized safety observer or standby attendant when necessary.
  • Capable of execute heavy work including lifting loads exceeding 50 lbs.
  • Ability to sit stand kneel bend and ascend ladders safely for prolonged operational shifts.
  • Comfortable operating in active hazardous loud or subterranean/dirty field environments.
