Position Summary
The GI Certified Surgical Technologist plays a vital role in supporting patients before during and after endoscopic procedures. This position requires strong technical skills attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sterile technique and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare procedure rooms instruments and equipment for endoscopic procedures
Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards
Assist physicians and clinical staff during GI procedures
Handle clean and process endoscopic equipment according to established protocols
Anticipate procedural needs and contribute to efficient workflow
Promote a safe positive experience for patients throughout their care journey
Qualifications
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
New graduates encouraged to apply
Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Endoscopy or GI experience preferred
Strong communication teamwork and organizational skills
