Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Charge RN youll oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous experience in acute care LTC or nursing homes adds tremendous value to our nursing team.

Every day you will advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential which aligns with your departments operational goals and objectives.

To thrive in this role you need to be accountable and confident. Youre an excellent communicator in 1:1 interactions and in front of groups. Its also important for you to be comfortable holding tough conversations as you are responsible for the performance of your people and your unit.


This job is responsible for providing GI nursing care of all patient populations undergoing GI procedures to include inpatient outpatient and those patients undergoing procedures in Radiology ED ICU and throughout the hospital.

Job Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Previous GI Lab experience or new graduate with completion of a senior practicum in a specialty area (e.g. critical care ED PACU or GI)
Registered Nurse: WA
Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days


Preferred

Bachelors Of Science Nursing

Two years experience within the past three years in an acute care setting i.e. Med/Surg ICU PCU PACU
Certified Gastroenterology RN

Critical RN Adult/Neonatal/Pediatric/Acute
Certified Emergency Nurse
