Responsibilities

• Provide direct diagnostic therapeutic and preventive health care services under the supervision of a physician.
• Obtain patient history and performs assessment. Order perform and interpret diagnostic procedures.
• Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions.
• Provide counseling and education of patients and their families/caregivers concerning preventative health treatment options and community resources.
• Perform preventative health assessments screening immunizations and care.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Verified by local Credentialing Office
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Verified by local credentialing office.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
