Labcorp is seeking a US remote based patient-facing Genetic Counselor to join our team to support Maternal Fetal Medicine Practices in the US as well as our Results Delivery Program.

Work Schedule: Monday Friday 8am 5pm local time zone

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling services for MFM practices serving a diverse patient population
• Support results reporting program for multiple clients by providing results to patients using an innovative approach of genetic results reporting
• Have the opportunity to provide direct patient care for a wide variety of complex indications from an extensive referral base
• Be able to engage in professional growth opportunities including writing abstracts and publications physician education and other projects
• Have access to the expertise of a nation-wide organization of medical geneticists biochemical and molecular geneticists and over 100 counseling colleagues

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling
• American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification or Active Candidate Status for ABGC
• Multi State Genetic Counselor licensure or ability to obtain it

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years or more experience of prenatal or reproductive Genetic Counseling post completion of Masters Degree
• Active ABGC certification

Additional Job Standards:

• Highly organized including excellent time management skills
• Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office

**Pay Range: $85000 - $120000 / year
All job offers will be based on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience applicable degrees/certifications as well as internal equity and market data.
