The Department of Surgery at UMass Memorial Health and UMass Chan Medical School is seeking a General Surgeon to join our growing team at Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster Massachusetts. Health Alliance Hospital is part of UMass Memorial Healths five-hospital system and serves a vital regional role in North Worcester County. This is an exciting opportunity for a surgeon with strong laparoscopic and robotic surgery skills who is interested in developing a regional referral hub for minimally invasive surgery while building a robust general surgery practice. A da Vinci robotic platform is being acquired to support the growth of robotic and minimally invasive surgical services.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient general surgery services
- Perform a broad range of open laparoscopic and robotic surgical procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists across UMass Memorial Health
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Strong laparoscopic surgical skillsrequired
- Robotic surgery experience and interest in program development preferred
- Interest in academic medicine teaching and mentorship
- MD or DO degreeand eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence teamwork and patient-centered care
