Job Summary
Under the supervision of an assigned attending Physician performs diagnostic and therapeutic tasks and renders varied medical services to provide comprehensive patient care within their scope of practice.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Provide medical care for our Inpatient Service on evenings and weekends in the Behavioral Health Department.
-Work closely with our psychiatric residents and attendings to provide medical care to our patient population.
-Provides medical coverage in CPEP as needed
Qualifications
-Bachelors degree is required.
-New graduates welcomed.
-Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant.
-Current New York State Physician Assistant License.
-Current certification issues by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
-Knowledge of basic MS Office Suite required.
-Candidate should have an interest in providing primary care to a psychiatric population.
