General Maintenance

JOB DESCRIPTION: To perform general maintenance work to include plumbing carpentry electrical painting HVAC and other associated maintenance responsibilities. Complete maintenance projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:Semi-skilled workers abilities including the ability to lift bend and work on ladders and in unusual positions necessary to perform general maintenance work. At least two years experience in general maintenance work. Valid Arizona drivers license. Certification in one or more skilled trade preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with materials and equipment used in a variety of maintenance assignments.

• Assist in any and all phases of construction and remodelingas assigned.

• Drive/operate the equipment tractor dump truck jackhammer and related equipment.

• Use equipment related to carpentry plumbing electrical HVAC and other related areas of skilled maintenance.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Maintain records of daily assignment times as directed for job time accounting purposes.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

SALARY: Twelve-month position beginning salary Level 34 employee benefits in accordance with Board policies.

EVALUATION: Performance to be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy on the evaluation of support personnel.
