General Laborers 2026

We are seeking dedicated and hard-working General Laborers to join our team for the 2026 Construction season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks at construction sites or plant/pit locations. Start of work will be Spring 2026.

• Persons shall be able to work safely and follow all company policies.
• Measures distance from grade stakes drives stakes & stretches tight line.
• Uses various power and hand tools. Bolts nails aligns and blocks up under forms.
• Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment movement and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications.
• Levels earth using pick or shovel.
• Performs flagging duties as needed.
• May operate small equipment including bobcat tractor or roller or move from one site to another.
• Finishes freshly poured cement or concrete using float trowel or screed.
• Persons shall be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel and to perform all duties safely and productively to ensure quality work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1-3 months verifiable experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid class C state drivers license and have an acceptable driving record per Knife River Fleet policy.
  
• Regular attendance required.
