General Labor Warehouse

MalaceHR is seeking a reliable hardworking and safety-conscious General Laborer / Warehouse Associate to support material handling and warehouse operations at a client facility in Castle Hayne NC.

This position is responsible for moving stacking sorting and organizing various shipping materials including boxes and pallets while preparing materials for forklift handling and transportation. The ideal candidate will be physically capable detail-oriented and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Perform general labor duties including lifting moving stacking sorting and organizing materials throughout the facility.

• Handle various shipping materials including boxes pallets and other warehouse supplies.

• Prepare and stage materials for forklift operators to ensure efficient loading unloading and transportation.

• Organize and maintain designated storage and work areas.

• Assist with loading unloading and relocating materials as needed.

• Inspect materials for visible damage and report any issues to supervisors.

• Follow established safety procedures when handling materials and working around warehouse equipment.

• Maintain a clean organized and hazard-free work environment.

• Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel and supervisors to complete daily assignments.

• Perform additional general labor and material handling duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in general labor warehousing shipping and receiving or material handling preferred.

• Ability to independently lift carry and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing walking bending lifting and stacking materials throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance punctuality and a strong work ethic.

• Commitment to following all workplace safety procedures and facility regulations.

• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

All employees must comply with the facilitys safety and dress code requirements.

• Safety Footwear: Employees must provide their own safety shoes or boots that meet the following requirements:

  • Over-the-ankle design

  • Lace-up style

  • Steel-toe or composite safety toe

• Pants: Long pants are required. Shorts are not permitted.

• Shirts: Shirts must have sleeves.

• Additional PPE: All other required personal protective equipment will be provided.

This position is located at a secure facility with strict safety and security requirements.

• Employees must comply with all site security policies and procedures.

• Personal vehicles and individuals may be subject to inspection upon entering while on-site and when leaving the facility.

• Prohibited items include firearms explosives tobacco products narcotics unauthorized drugs cameras recording devices and knives of any blade length.

• Employees are responsible for bringing their own meals as lunch is not provided.

• All employees must follow facility regulations and maintain a professional safety-conscious work environment.
