Line Cook / Kitchen AssistantLocation: Des Moines IAPay: $18.00 / hour (Paid Weekly)Schedule: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM (Full-Time / Part-Time)Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable hard-working Line Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Des this dual-role capacity you will play a crucial part in maintaining high culinary standards ensuring food safety prepping ingredients and keeping kitchen operations running smoothly during evening ResponsibilitiesStation Prep & Line Execution: Prepare ingredients sauces and line items prior to dinner rush. Operate kitchen equipment with a primary focus on deep fryers and hot line Assistant Support: Assist the overall kitchen team with food prep station setup and general prep tasks to ensure seamless line & Sanitation: Maintain a clean organized work area throughout the shift. Execute nightly kitchen closing procedures including breakdown cleaning and sanitization of fryers and cooking Player & Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime during peak volumes and step in to cover other kitchen dutiessuch as dishwashing or secondary stationswhen needed to support the & RequirementsPrevious kitchen line cook or prep assistant experience preferred particularly with commercial fryers and basic food to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 communication skills and a team-first to work shifts running from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM including potential overtime when & PerksWeekly Pay: Competitive starting wage of $18/hour paid out every Time Off (PTO): Earn PTO starting on day 1 with full eligibility to use accrued time after 60 days of pay opportunities.#IND1
