We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching paid holidays paid Vacation paid sick leave and Advisory Business Solutions (KABS) is seeking a dependable organized and customer-focused General Clerk II to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) Office of Environmental Health & Engineering (OEHE) Field Office in Miami position plays an important role in supporting programs that improve environmental health and sanitation infrastructure for Tribal communities. As a member of the OEHE team you will provide administrative clerical customer service and program support that helps engineers technicians and project staff successfully manage sanitation and construction projects benefiting American Indian you enjoy working with people staying organized managing multiple priorities and supporting meaningful public service programs we encourage you to the General Clerk II you will provide a wide variety of administrative and office support services including:Customer Service:Welcome visitors and answer incoming telephone calls professionally and general information to customers and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff customers with completing applications and explain required documentation for program Support:Prepare letters reports memoranda forms and other correspondence using Microsoft Office and format documents from handwritten notes electronic files or other source documents for grammar spelling formatting and final documents for and File Management:Maintain electronic and paper project incoming and outgoing copy scan archive and organize records in accordance with office and update project folders and participant Database Support:Enter update and maintain information in program databases including:STARS (Sanitation Tracking and Reporting System)Service Request (SR)Project Data System (PDS)Home Inventory Tracking System (HITS)Track homeowner applications and project project costs journal entries housing information and other program ensure program information remains complete accurate and and Office Support:Prepare purchase card request with project financial recordkeeping and reconciliation of the field office commitment maintain office supply inventory and coordinate supply with preparation of homeowner manuals and environmental compliance administrative support to Engineering Technicians and other program light housekeeping duties and other administrative assignments as :Part-Time PositionMonday through Friday8:00 a.m. 2:00 holidays observedWork is performed on-site at the Indian Health Service Office of Environmental Health & Engineering Field Office in Miami :Required:High school diploma or GEDTwo or more years of administrative clerical customer service or office support experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)Ability to accurately enter and maintain electronic recordsAbility to manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detailProfessional customer service skills and a positive attitudePreferred:Experience working in a government healthcare engineering construction or public service environmentExperience maintaining electronic databasesFamiliarity with records management and document controlExperience with purchasing bookkeeping or financial trackingExperience supporting engineering facilities environmental health or construction programsSkills That Will Help You Succeed:Successful candidates will demonstrate:Strong attention to detailExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsProfessional communication both written and verbalAbility to prioritize work and meet deadlinesStrong organizational and recordkeeping abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamCommitment to accuracy confidentiality and quality serviceSecurity and Compliance Requirements:Must successfully complete the required background complete all required Indian Health Service and OEHE onboarding and annual follow all applicable federal agency and office policies regarding confidentiality records management and information Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
