Job Summary
Overall ScopeUnder the general direction of the Finance Manager Engineered Solutions the Financial Analyst is responsible for developing analyzing and interpreting financial and operational information to support executive decisionmaking. This role partners closely with operations sales and division finance to drive performance improvement cost control and strategic planning across the and DutiesSupport the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts Provide financial reporting and analysis of actual results versus budget and forecastPartner with sales and operational leaders to deliver indepth financial analysis modeling and insights that support business initiativesAnalyze financial and operational data to provide recommendations that improve margins cost efficiency and overall performanceMaintain and enhance BI dashboards KPIs and reporting toolsPerform monthend close activities including journal entries and preparation of management reporting packagesConduct cost analysis related to materials labor overhead and production variancesAssist in preparing executivelevel summary analytics Create maintain and optimize reports within financial planning softwarePerform ad hoc analysis and support special projects as assignedMinimum RequirementsBachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related fieldThree or more years of accounting or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong analytical quantitative and problemsolving skillsProven ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and maintain highquality workDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a handson teamoriented environment; strong work ethic requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with ERP systems (e.g. JDE) and financial consolidation/planning tools (e.g. Oracle)Proficiency with MS Office applications particularly ExcelExperience with BI tools such as Power BI#DG-1
