GCP Data Engineer
Terms: 7 month contract (extend on annual basis from Jan. 29th)
Location: Local to Plano TX
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite week)
HM: Needing someone who can think and problem solve. Can carryout instructions and handle complex problems - does not want to hand hold.
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to ensure efficient data flow and integration across various GCP services.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of hands on GCP/BQ (Big Query)/Dataflow experience
- 7 years of SQL skills (expert level)
- 5 years of shell and Python scripting
- Excellent communication
- Ability to effectively communicate with the business gather requirements etc
Nice to Have:
- Retail experience is a plus
