Gas Turbine Quality Specialist

The QA Specialist/Associate is responsible for ensuring repaired gas turbine components meet customer engineering and quality requirements through incoming in-process and final inspections. This position plays a critical role in verifying product conformity reviewing repair documentation processing job close-outs and maintaining compliance with company quality standards and ISO procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform incoming in-process and final inspections of gas turbine components and repaired hardware.
• Verify compliance with customer specifications engineering drawings repair instructions and quality requirements.
• Review and approve routers inspection records and repair documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Sign-off job close-outs and ensure all required quality documentation is complete before shipment.
• Identify and document non-conformances and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure adherence to quality management system requirements work instructions and repair processes including but not limited to calibration system NCR MRB and supplier quality.
• Support internal customer and regulatory audits as required.
• Collaborate with Operations Engineering and Production teams to resolve quality concerns and improve process performance.
• Maintain quality records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Other related duties assigned by management

Qualifications:

Associate or bachelors degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

2 years of quality assurance inspection manufacturing aerospace or gas turbine repair experience.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings specifications repair manuals and work instructions.

Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement equipment.

Strong attention to detail organizational and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
