Funeral Home Manager

NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Funeral Home Manager at Skylawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Half Moon Bay CA. Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and executing culturally significant events and community outreach initiatives including partnerships with churches hospitals nursing homes and community centers.
• Demonstrate impeccable etiquette and professionalism in every interaction consistently reflecting NorthStar Memorial Groups values and compliance expectations.
• Maintain mastery of all product offerings service processes and organizational policies to confidently address complex questions from families and the public.
• Actively listen to families and channel meaningful insights to internal marketing and product teams to support continuous improvement.
• Lead coach and develop Funeral Arrangers and Care Center Staff fostering a culture of respect accountability communication and high performance.
• Direct funeral home operations and collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
• Drive achievement of annual case volume and revenue goals while continuously elevating the family experience within the funeral home.
• Select train and motivate staff to ensure service delivery consistently exceeds family expectations.

Compensation range of $105000 - 125000/yr.

Qualifications

• Licensed Funeral Director in the state of California or must be able to reciprocate
• 5 years of experience in related field
• 2 years of management or leadership experience funeral profession preferred
• Excellent customer relations and actively looking for ways to help others
• Professional communication and effective leadership skills
