This position involves retrieving stock checking orders for accuracy and packing items for shipment. Location: Tyrone PA
Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.
- Fulfillment Associates should be prepared to work overtime as needed to ensure all priority orders for the next day are accurately completed before the end of the shift.
- Receive orders from the order desk and pick goods from the warehouse shelves and pallet racks.
- Verify order accuracy against sales orders and inspect items to ensure correct selection.
- Transport collected goods to the packing desk and update sales order forms as needed.
- Check packed orders for accuracy and prepare shipments using appropriate packing materials.
- Place packed orders in designated areas for delivery vans or palletize and wrap freight orders.
- Follow warehouse safety protocols when retrieving and handling items.
- Operate materials handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks safely and effectively.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment including hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong reading and communication abilities to interpret order forms and provide updates.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months of experience in warehouse operations preferred but not required.
- Must be able to handle an intensive walking position with frequent movement throughout the day.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable standing walking bending and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and motor skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to physical demands.
