Job Summary

With a competitive wage of $28.79$44.47/hour depending on experience and licensure this position is ideal for clinicians looking to grow their skills while providing meaningful high-quality care to children youth adults and families in our community. The Provo Family Clinic primarily serves children and families experiencing trauma mental illness and behavioral health challenges with services addressing conditions such as depression anxiety ADHD PTSD behavioral concerns sexual behavior problems autism spectrum disorders and post-adoption needs.

Experience working with young children is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation: $28.79$44.47 DOE and Licensure

What Youll Do as a Therapist

  • Provide individual family and potentially group therapy to children youth adults and families.
  • Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Experience working with young children is preferred
  • Use evidence-based research-supported therapeutic approaches to help clients meet their goals.
  • Support clients experiencing trauma anxiety depression behavioral concerns and other mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and behavioral health professionals to coordinate client care.
  • Maintain accurate timely clinical documentation and treatment records.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and families while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and professional development to strengthen clinical skills.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in social work Mental Health Counseling Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Utah licensure as CSW ACMHC AMFT LCSW CMHC or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
  • Solid skills in clinical assessment treatment planning and providing therapy.
  • Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
  • Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase.

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
