As a Physical Therapist Assistant you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to:
- Provide quality physical therapy treatments according to established care plans
- Help patients improve mobility strength balance and functional independence
- Collaborate with therapists nursing staff physicians families and other members of the care team
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Educate patients families and staff regarding therapeutic programs and safety
- Participate as an important member of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Current Michigan Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate dependable and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative therapy team
- New graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply!
