Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for itsFull-Time Maintenance Technician (HVAC)position in the Facilities and Operations Division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical Colleges main campus just South of Downtown Atlanta.
Under thegeneral supervision oftheMaintenance Supervisor theFull-Time Maintenance Technician (HVAC)is responsibleforperforming skilledandsemi-skilledworkassociated withthe maintenance and repair of the colleges facilities and grounds to include:
- Performsawidevarietyofmaintenance andrepairworkinrelationtotheinstallationmaintenanceandrepairofHVACequipmentboilersbuildingequipmentandfurnishings.
- ConductsdailyroundsofcriticalequipmentandroomsthroughoutthecampusandreportsproblemstotheMaintenanceSupervisorand/orFacilitiesDirector.
- Always maintains all engineering and electrical spaces in a clean and neat manner.
- Makesdailychecksofandadjustmentsofthermostatsreceivercontrollerscontrol!ersensorsautomaticcontrolpanelsandotherrelatedequipmentforproperoperation.
- Assistsinrenovationprojectsasassigned.
- Participatesintherepairandmaintenanceofcollegeequipmentandvehicles.
- Usesandmaintainsavarietyoftoolsmaterialsandequipment.
- Maintainsrequiredrecordsandlogs.
- Assistsinmovesandeventsetupsthroughoutthecampusasassignedanddirected.
- Installsmaintainsorrepairselectricalsystemsandassociatedhardware.
- Installsmaintainsrepairsandrenovatesplumbinghardware.
- Assistswithcarpentryprojects.
- Participatingingroundmaintenanceactivitiesincludinginstallingandmaintaininglandscapingand maintaining parking lots.
- Coordinatestheworkofmaintenanceandcustodialstaffasdirectedbysupervisor.
- Respondstoemergencyrequestsforrepairs; and
- Performs otherdutiesasassignedbytheFacilities & Operations LeadershipTeam.

Minimum Qualifications:
Mustpossessanddemonstrateahigh school diploma or equivalentANDOne(1)or moreyearsofrelatedworkexperience.
PreferredQualifications:
Preference may be considered for candidates who in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications possess and demonstrate the following:
- Two(2)or moreyearsofexperience as a Maintenance Technician.
- Must HVAC License and/or Certification.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Drivers License.
