Successful candidates must also be willing to serve in the role of Nutrition Services Assistant as part of their daily duties. Serve meals to students in accordance with USDA California Department of Education and school nutrition program requirements. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and accurately record daily meal counts. Complete meal production records and required documentation. Receive inspect verify and properly store food deliveries. Assist with weekly meal ordering and inventory. Clean and sanitize the kitchen cafeteria serving areas equipment and food preparation surfaces. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
