Job Summary

The starting pay range for this position per hour is $23.75 - $25.75. The full pay range for this position per hour is $23.75 - $40.40

  • Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-firstculture on your team
  • Retail business fundamentalsincludingdepartment sales trends inventory management guest shopping patternspricingand promotions strategies
  • Planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals
  • Process improvements and workload efficiency
  • Leading a team of hourly team membersincluding skills in interviewing developing coaching evaluating andretainingtalent

As a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader no two daysare ever the same but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities:

  • Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy Inspiring and Friendly guest experience
  • Ensures every team member understands is trained and consistentlydelivers onTargets guest experience commitmentsand consistent operations
  • Actively observes and provides feedback holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments
  • Reviews area guest financial and team outcome metrics toidentifyopportunitiestakes action to improve andaligns team on the right behaviors and execution celebrates wins drives results that deliver outcomes and elevates the guest experience
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience. Modeltrainand coach expectations to deliver the service standard
  • Lead your team and drivefulfillment goals understand your role in supporting sales growth and how your departments and team contribute toandimpact total store profitability in support of yourdirectleader
  • Utilize your workload planning tools to ensure your team completes all scheduledworkloadand all orders are fulfilled to meet the delivery freshnessand service standards
  • Review all fulfillment reporting toidentifygaps and develop a plan to resolve
  • With direction from yourdirectleadercreate dailyplans for your team
  • Be an expertofoperations accuracyprocessand efficiency
  • Enable efficient delivery to our guests by leadingpickup and ship from store workload
  • Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team. Support yourdirectleader in their onboarding
  • Withyourdirectleaderestablishclear goalsaround quality accuracy and timelinessand hold team members accountable to expectations. Close any training gaps through coaching conversations
  • Ensure the team is following food safety guidelines and selecting fresh food items for guests
  • Ensure supplies are orderedtimelyand stocked. Partner with your direct leader for ordering
  • Ifapplicable as a key carrier follow all safe and secure training and processes
  • Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience for the store during assigned shifts based on store needs
  • Demonstrateinclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches being authentic and respectful and creatingequitableexperiences
  • Alwaysdemonstratea culture of ethical conductsafetyand compliance;lead team to work in the same way and hold others accountable to this commitment
  • Lead anddemonstratea safety culture through modeling and recognizing safe behaviorsidentifyingand correcting hazards holding team accountable to following safety expectationsassistingwith incident response and reporting/investigating injuriestimelyand accurately
  • Model the execution of physical security processesin order toenhance the instore security culture
  • Support merchandise protection strategies across the total storeincluding ordering storage and application as directed by best practices
  • Lead anddemonstratea culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning; help close skill gaps through development coachingand team interactions
  • Addressallstoreemergency and complianceneeds
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier order pick up (OPU) andDriveup (DU) andmaintaina compliance culture while executing those duties such as compliance with federal state and localadult beveragelaws
  • All other dutiesbasedon business needs

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Previousretail experience preferred but notrequired
  • Lead and hold others accountable
  • Learn and adapt to current technology needs
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
  • Welcoming and helpful attitudetoward all guests and other team members
  • Effective communication skills

  • Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
  • Interpret instructionsreportsand information
  • Accurately handle cash register operationsas needed
  • Climb up and down ladders
  • Scanhandleand move merchandise efficiently and safely including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds withoutadditionalassistance from others
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices andoperatehandheld scanners and other technology equipment asdirected
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g. nightsweekendsand holidays) and reliable andpromptattendance necessary
  • Although the role is full-time it does not come with a guarantee of 40 hours each week. Hours will depend on the needs of the business and may fluctuate as required
