Job Summary

Fulfillment Operations Specialists play a key hybrid role in our Shipping Department. Specialists ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment by receiving parts from processing; pulling and organizing inventory; and reviewing verifying and stamping shipping documentation. Specialists must be able to work reliably with strong attention to detail and balance multiple priorities to contribute to the success of our FunctionsTo accomplish this job an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Ensure shipping documents are accurate and complete and that all packages are adequately accuracy of orders and maintains accurate records of shipments; compares identifying information and counts and weights for customer receive unwrap inspect and store incoming orders; responsible for accurately recording counts weights condition and storage locations for received itemsUtilizes forklift pallet jacks dolly and other material handling equipment to transport materials; may use forklift to load and/or unload goods on trucks (Forklift certification upon employment is required)Completes appropriate paperwork in compliance with internal processes and quality procedures (review and stamp shipping documents)Maintains a clean and organized safe work areaCollaborate with others to ensure accurate retrieval of inventory parts for assembly use inventory systems to pull hardware from their designated directions consistently and accepts responsibility for his/her actions and work productComplies with applicable manufacturing processes work procedures and supervisor instructionsAdheres to safety guidelines and procedures; proactively identifies job hazards and collaborates with leadership to minimize hazards and ensure employee safetyPerforms other duties as assignedRegular attendance on-site at the work site is required Mon-Fri 7am-4:30pmThis role is identified as requiring ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance; therefore qualified candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person (per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15):An individual who is granted U.S. citizenship orAn individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence (i.e. a Green Card holder) orAn individual who is granted status as a protected personRequired Education and Work ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED equivalent is requiredMinimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse role performing stocking order picking and/or packaging is preferredForklift experience with satisfactory record of safe operation is preferredBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite preferred)Prior experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning system preferredExperience managing receiving from/shipping to multiple customers preferredOther Required Skills and AbilitiesAbility to read and accurately interpret a shipping label and pack list and verify counts with 100% accuracyAttention to detail and demonstration of accurate counting and associated recordkeepingProfessional written and verbal communication skills (English)Consistently legible handwriting (English)Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentTo perform the essential functions of the role employees must be able to perform the following activities with or without reasonable accommodations:Regularly stand and walk throughout the facility stand for long periods to perform job dutiesRegularly lift carry (short distances) and push/pull up to 50 poundsAccurately distinguish colors letters and numbersUse hands and fingers to manually inspect and assess lift rotate and wrap or otherwise package parts
