Job Summary
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer with 2-6 years of experience to join our early-stage team building the worlds first AI-native ERP for defense manufacturing. This is a clean-slate build with a modern stack (React TypeScript TailwindCSS) where your decisions ship fast and matter immediately. We need someone who thrives with autonomy cares deeply about craft and polish and is excited to define the design language for a product that empowers people building mission-critical hardware.
What will you be doing
Architect and implement frontend features using React TypeScript and : translating Figma designs into polished responsive production-ready code
Build structured chat interfaces real-time dashboards and intelligent form systems that blend conversation and action
Own frontend testing validation and safe rollout practices (A/B testing Playwright) to ship changes confidently

Ground-floor opportunity at a clean-slate startup: Company was founded in 2025 and is building the worlds first AI-native ERP for defense tech. You wont be maintaining legacy code: youll be architecting from scratch.
Your work directly shapes the product: As a frontend engineer here youre not filling tickets. Youll define the entire user experience: structured chat real-time dashboards Agentic AI interfaces for a platform that defense manufacturers actually rely on.
Cutting-edge tech stack: React TypeScript TailwindCSS GraphQL real-time streaming and LLM/agent integration. This is modern frontend work at its most interesting.
- Position: Front-end Engineer urgent hire.
- Team growth: Adding 4 engineers in total 2 front-end leaning.
- Must-have skills: React TypeScript Figma.
- Nice-to-haves: Python GraphQL FastAPI SQL Alchemy.
- Looking for 3-6 years of experience flexible to 2 years for exceptional candidates.
- Compensation: $175k-$225k plus equity depending on experience.
- Current development team size will increase by 30-40%.
- Focus on product-market fit and scaling.
- Hybrid: 3 days onsite in San Diego or monthly onsite for remote West Coast candidates.
- No full remote roles; preference for West Coast candidates.
- Front-end role to be filled within a few weeks.
- Interview process: Initial call second call then onsite interview.
- Background in ERP defense tech or enterprise SaaS is a plus.
- Desire to work in a smaller dynamic team with autonomy.
- Need to avoid spreading resources thin across multiple roles.

- Salary range: $175k-$225k plus equity with a standard four-year vesting schedule.

Requirements
3 - 6 years of experience in frontend engineering with React and TypeScript (2 YoE okay for exceptional candidates)
Built production React/TypeScript apps with modern responsive UIs (not legacy frameworks)
Translated design mocks (Figma or similar) into polished functional frontend code
Experience at an AI-native startup defense tech or enterprise SaaS company (e.g. ERP finance/accounting platforms Agentic AI products)
