TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Receptionist in the Bethesda MD area!

WORK ENVIRONMENT:In-Person (Temp-to-Hire)

PAY RATE:$18 Hourly

SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 9:00am -5:00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Welcome and check in patients with a warm professional attitude.

- Schedule new patient appointments follow-up visits and reschedule appointments as needed.

- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient questions regarding appointments and clinic services.

- Verify insurance eligibility obtain authorizations when required and collect co-pays and patient payments.

- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic medical records (EMR).

- Ensure patient registration paperwork is completed accurately.

- Provide outstanding customer service while creating a positive experience for every patient.

QUALIFICATIONS

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Previous front desk receptionist customer service or administrative experience preferred.

- Medical office or physical therapy clinic experience is strongly preferred.

- Experience with insurance verification authorizations or medical scheduling is a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office(Excel Outlook) and scheduling software systems

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
