Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in and check-out
- Answer incoming calls and assist patients professionally
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Verify insurance information and patient demographics
- Collect copayments and patient balances
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Communicate with physicians providers therapists and clinical staff
- Assist with referrals paperwork and administrative duties
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Help ensure smooth daily front office operations
What Were Looking For
- Friendly outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills
- Dependable punctual and professional
- Strong communication organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a busy healthcare environment
- Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred
- Electronic medical records and insurance verification experience a plus
