Position Details
Position Title: Under the direction of the camp (Village) dean junior counselors teach language and culture to summer camp participants. Applicants 16-17 are invited to apply for the opportunity to be at camp while also building your resume. Applicants 18 are invited to check out our Counselor position. About Concordia Language Villages: Position responsibilities: General Responsibilities for All Positions Essential Functions of All Positions Provision of essential functions helps assure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Minimum Qualifications:
- Completed two years of language study or equivalent; broad knowledge of the culture and activities of the target language.
- Turned at least 16 years of age
- Eligible to work in United States
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Modelmaturity and good judgment
- Enjoy interacting with and managing children
- Demonstrated adaptability in changing situations
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year experience working with children
- Previousattendance or work experience at Concordia Language Villages or another summer camp
