Frame Fab Technician 2nd Shift

Reports to: Metals Supervisor

Cooperates with: Welding Fabrication Shipping

Primary Responsibility: The fabricator is responsible for the production of MIRATECH products and components to meet internal and customer requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication techniques and methods such as shearing rolling sawing plasma cutting punching and forming the metals.
• Operate Waterjet and Press Break.
• Prepare sheet metal for welding per specs.
• To meet and/or exceed standards for safety productivity housekeeping and attendance.
• Interpretation of blueprints and written part requirements.
• Process inspection certification and documentation as needed.
• Read parts list and determine if all parts are present.
• Interpret measurements and verify specifications.
• Cut and shape metals to be prepped for the welders.
• Other duties as assigned.

How to qualify:

• High School Diploma.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (grinders saws squares calipers etc.)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and heavier items with a team lift.

Youll stand out if you have:

• Ability to interpret blueprints
• Prior work experience as a Metal Fabricator
