Kennedy Donovan Center (KDC) is seeking compassionate dedicated individuals or families to become Foster this lifechanging role you will open your home to a child or teen in need of safety stability and support. Foster parents provide a nurturing environment that promotes healing growth and connection during a critical time in a young persons life.
As a Foster Parent you will welcome a child or youth into your home and provide daytoday care structure and emotional support. Youll work closely with KDCs foster care team to ensure the childs needs are met and that they feel safe valued and supported. This is a deeply rewarding opportunity to make a direct lasting impact.
Provide a safe and supportive home environment
Assist with daily routines such as meals school preparation and transportation
Support emotional and behavioral needs with patience and consistency
Encourage socialization and community involvement
Attend medical school and therapeutic appointments as needed
Maintain documentation and communicate regularly with the KDC care team
Collaborate with case managers to support the childs goals and wellbeing

Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
Have a spare bedroom in your home
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship
Ability to pass background checks (CORI/BRC fingerprinting etc.)
Experience in caregiving childcare or human services preferredbut not required
Strong communication skills and a compassionate patient approach
