Job Description
Brake Press operators produce parts and tools from metal using a press brake a computer
numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends. Brake Press
operators interpret blueprints or plans for the finished product as well as make sure the
machines are set up properly and produce quality products. They look at the finished
product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in production.

Requirements
o High School Diploma or Equivalent
o Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend metal parts as per the job
order and blueprints.
o Excellent attention to detail
o Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
o Must be able to read measurements i.e. tape measures etc.
o Must be able to lift 50 pounds
o Ability to read and understand blueprints
