Volt is immediately hiring for a Forklift/Material Handlerin Visalia Ca.

As a Forklift/Material Handleryou will:

• Safely operate a forklift or clamp truck to move store and organize finished goods in the warehouse.
• Inspect forklifts and equipment at the start of each shift.
• Verify and transport finished product pallets for storage and shipment.
• Scan barcodes and accurately record inventory transactions using the RF scanning system.
• Store products in designated warehouse locations while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Monitor sortation lines and process case and pallet pull tags as needed.
• Securely wrap pallets for storage and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures safety standards and quality requirements.
• Cross-train and provide coverage for Warehouse Stacker duties when required.
• Maintain an organized clean and safe work environment.

This is a full-time temp to hire opportunity!

Schedule: 12am to 8am - Must be open to work any night as this is a 24-hour operation.

Overtime: 12am-12pm or 8pm-8am (must be able to meet both overtime hours)

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3 years of recent sit-down forklift experience with duration in a manufacturing setting
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime

Pay Rate: $19.14 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
