Rotating schedule (3 days on 2 days off 2 days on and 3 days off)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe accurate movement of products within the distribution center.
Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties Roles and/or Authorities)
- Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload put away double deep bulk and full pallet pick load replenishment)
- Operate material handling equipment including high reach counterbalance electric pallet jack and dock stocker.
- Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site. Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
- Follow site safety procedures including required PPE (safety vest safety shoes).
- Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas. Provide backup support when required.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 year of relevant experience required in lieu of High School Diploma or GED.
- Intermediate experience with either a high reach or counterbalance required.
- Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification within 2 days of employment.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English.
- Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.
- Basic analytical organizational and prioritization skills.
- General distribution knowledge.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong initiative and drive for results.

- While performing this job the associate is regularly exposed to episodes of walking standing stooping kneeling balancing crouching reaching pushing/pulling grasping hearing twisting lifting frequent use of hand to finger handle feel pick or type which can include repetitive motion of the wrists hands or fingers.
- The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting over 50lbs in some areas but not all.
- Associate must have normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and must have hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE Material Handling Equipment in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
Work Environment: (if applicable)
- The noise level is moderate to loud.
- There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment exposure to precarious situations.
- Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
- This role may require a mandatory medical evaluation in compliance with client obligations under applicable occupational health and safety laws.
