Job Summary:
As a Forklift Operator at our Lunenburg MA facility you ll play a critical role in ensuring efficient material flow accurate inventory tracking and on-time outbound shipments within a fast-paced high-volume warehouse or manufacturing environment. Your skills in forklift operation RF scanning and dock loading will directly support our production and distribution targets contributing to our reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials throughout the warehouse or manufacturing facility
- Load and unload up to 25 trailers per shift ensuring timely and accurate shipping schedules
- Use RF scanners to process receiving shipping and inventory verification activities
- Verify product counts quantities and descriptions against shipping/receiving documentation
- Palletize and apply stretch wrap to shipments according to specifications
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete pre-shift checklists
- Safely change propane tanks on forklifts as needed
- Maintain clean organized work areas equipment and loading docks
- Complete all paperwork tied to product/material movement accurately and on time
- Support production lines and cross-functional departments as required
