Forklift Operator (Inventory Control)

Maxxima a leader in LED lighting and electrical products for HD trucks and consumer markets is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Hauppauge NY distribution warehouse.

Pay & Schedule:

• $20-$23/hour (based on experience) weekly pay
• MondayFriday 8:30 AM5:00 PM (occasional overtime as needed)

What Youll Do:

• Operate a stand-on forklift to receive load and unload shipments
• Perform inventory control cycle counts and bin/shelf management
• Prioritize purchase orders for productivity
• Cross-train in picking packing and shipping
• Support other warehouse projects as needed

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years operating a forklift in a warehouse/distribution setting (stand-on forklift experience preferred)
• Current unexpired forklift certification
• Valid drivers license
• WMS (warehouse management system) experience
• Working knowledge of forklift mechanics/maintenance
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for a full shift
• Strong attention to detail reliability and ability to work independently or on a team
