Position Description:

Reports To: Executive Director of Food Services

Scope of Responsibility:

• Maintains DC lists.
• Manages website for food services.
• Tracks site health inspections.
• Respondstocafeteriaandcentralofficebasedsoftwareandhardwareissuesinatimely
• Makessitevisitstoschoolswithapersonalvehicleorworksremotelytoresolvereported
• CommunicateseffectivelywiththeJPSTechnologyDepartmentinseekingadditionalhelpinproblem
• InstallshardwareandsoftwareincafeteriaandFoodServices
• Repairsandreconditionsdepartmenthardwareif
• Recommendsthepurchaseofhardwareandancillaryitemsas
• Overseesthesoftwarerolloverprocesspriortothebeginningofeachschool
• TracksandtroubleshootsdailycommunicationsbetweentheFoodServicesandSISsoftware
• ActsasliaisonbetweenFoodServicessoftwarevendorsandotherJPS
• ConductsorassistsintrainingforFoodServices
• Isoncallfortasksthatrequirecompletionafterstandardwork
• Maintainsalogofallsoftwareissuesandtheirresolutionasreportedbycafeteriaandcentraloffice
• IscrosstrainedinthebasicresponsibilitiesoftheFoodServicesApplicationManagerandisabletoperformthosetasksas
• PerformsotherdutiesasassignedbytheExecutiveDirectorofFood

Skills and Qualifications:

We seek detail-oriented independent and/or possess:

• Graduateofanaccreditedtechnicalschoolwithcourseworkconcentrationincomputerapplicationsorrelatedfieldoraminimumof5yearsofdocumentedexperiencewithcomputer
• DocumentedexperiencewithpointofserviceandbackofthehouseFoodServicessoftware
• Strongcommunicationskillsinmultiplesettingsandtheabilitytobeanengagingchangeagentandculture creatorthatcaninspireand
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to make decisions and
• Collaborative management style with a proven track record of working with diverse individuals at all levels to drive decision-makingandproblem
• Highdegreeofprofessionalismwiththeabilitytomanagemultiplecompetingprioritieswhileconsistentlydemonstratingsoundjudgmentanddisciplined
• Competence in using a personal computer including the districts software
• Competenceinusinganddemonstratingtheuseoffoodservicessoftwaretofoodservices

Physical Involvement:

Continuous movement is required most of the day; standing sitting walking reaching bending and lifting 30 pounds is sometimes required. Must have ability to provide own transportation to schools work locations and meeting sites. Must possess mobility skills necessary to access a variety of work areas. Must possess a valid drivers license. Ability to provide own transportation to schools work locations and meetings both inside and outside the parish.
