YOUR ROLE AS A FOOD RUNNER

We are looking for a Food Runner to support our wait staff and set up our dining areas.

Assist servers in running the food from the kitchen to the dining room and onto the patrons table as well as accommodating the guests during their dining experience.

Ultimately you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

• Provide friendly courteous and efficient service to all guests by making eye contact smiling and maintaining proper posture.
• Assists bus attendants in setting and clearing tables in accordance with Mr. Cs standards in an enthusiastic and professional manner.
• Assists with serving water coffee and tea while safely transporting items to and from the pantry and kitchen areas.
• Must be very familiar with the menu to ensure the quality and presentation of meals are up to company standards before delivering them to the table.
• Must follow proper time and attendance and uniform procedures.
• Respond quickly and properly in any restaurant emergency situation.
• Maintain an alert and attentive demeanor at all times in addition to remaining calm during periods of heavy business volumes.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the dining room.
• Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
• Due to the cyclical nature of the industry employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the addition attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
• Upon employment all Employees are required to fully comply with Mr C. rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the facilities. Employees who violate organization rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action up to and

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

• Able to speak read write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• Able to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely.
• Knowledge of the menu and beverage list and the ability to communicate clear suggestions to the guests.
• Knowledge of the city particularly tourist attractions and the ability to communicate clear directions to these attractions and facilities.
• Auditory and visual abilities to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
• Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderated and controlled by facility environmental systems.
• Able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for an extended period of time.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and on a regular and continuing basis.
• Able to bend stoop kneel reach push pull twist walk crouch squat and stretch to fulfill tasks.
• Manual dexterity required to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• Verbal visual and auditory interactions occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests supervisors and other employees.
• Minimum one-year food service experience required in a fast pace environment.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government-required licenses certificates or permits.
• All Employees must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance per Mr. Cs standards.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education: High school or equivalent education preferred.

Experience Required: Minimum one year serving experience required.

Licenses or Certificates: Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses certificates or permits.

Grooming: All Employees must maintain a neat clean and well-groomed appearance per Mr. C standards.
