Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Folder Operator for a long-term direct hire role in Hartland WI. The Folder Operator sets up programs and operates CNC/sheet metal folding equipment to manufacture parts according to blueprint specifications and quality standards.
Pay: $21-28/h depending on experience
Weekly overtime!
Shift: 1st (6 am to 2 pm)

Key Responsibilities for Folder Operator:
Read and interpret blueprints specifications and routings to produce folding parts.
Set up program and operate folding equipment.
Properly position and orient workpieces in machines.
Use precision measuring instruments to set up and adjust equipment and verify parts meet specifications.
Perform metric conversions and apply basic shop math.
Follow all quality safety housekeeping and cleanup procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and other team members.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications for Folder Operator:
High school diploma or equivalent education required.
2 years of relevant manufacturing/folding machine experience preferred.
Basic shop math skills required.
Ability to read and understand blueprints specifications and routings.
Experience working with a variety of materials and machine programming preferred.
Familiarity with Schroder Fasti and Roper Whitney folding machines is a plus.
Ability to perform metric conversions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift while performing setup operation and inspection tasks.
Frequently use hands to handle materials controls and equipment.
Ability to sit talk listen and operate machinery.
Occasionally walk climb balance stoop kneel crouch crawl and reach above shoulder height.
Ability to operate machine controls and equipment using hands and feet.
Ability to reach control panels up to approximately 60 inches high and 18 inches in front of the body.
Ability to maintain balance on each leg for up to 30 seconds.
Ability to push and pull materials using up to 25 lbs. of force.
