Foam Process Engineer

Education and/or Experience:

• Engineering degree highly preferred or combination of equivalent work experience and education
• Experience in foam manufacturing chemical processing automotive manufacturing or a related production environment.
• Experience with process control systems HMIs data collection and quality systems.
• Knowledge of TPM Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• A high level of analytical ability is required to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Must be proficient with computer software applications: Microsoft Word Excel and Project. Create spreadsheets and databases and be familiar with AutoCAD

Job Responsibilities:

• Verify startup readiness by confirming chemical inventories HMI communication equipment functionality and line readiness.
• Ensure compliance with process control plans operating procedures safety requirements and 5S standards.
• Develop and execute TPM action plans support maintenance activities and coordinate with Maintenance and Operations on equipment/process issues.
• Analyze production data lead density and scrap reduction initiatives and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions while providing leadership and direction to hourly team members as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environmental standards
