Flutter Engineer

Location: Remote Work from Anywhere

Date: The expected start window for this position is as soon as possible

Time Zone: Available for meetings in Central Time with at least 23 hours of daily overlap

What Youll Do

• Join a remote team of AI-first engineers building and maintaining a large-scale application in Flutter

• Develop Flutter functionality across iOS Android and web

• Develop responsive reusable user interfaces using strong Flutter widget-composition practices

• Create consistent user experiences across devices operating systems browsers and screen sizes

• Manage application state using Cubit/Bloc and established Flutter state-management patterns

• Implement scalable application navigation using gorouter

• Integrate the application with backend services and APIs using Retrofit JSON serialization and code-generation tools

• Use AI tools daily to streamline development debugging testing refactoring and documentation workflows without compromising quality

• Identify bugs performance bottlenecks usability issues and architectural risks early and take ownership of solutions

• Communicate progress blockers decisions and risks clearly in a remote-first environment

• Work closely with other engineers proactively communicating progress blockers and risks

What Youll Bring

• At least 3 years of professional Flutter experience

• An AI-first mindset and practical experience using AI tools as part of software-development workflows

• Strong Flutter widget composition and responsive UI skills

• Hands-on experience with Cubit/Bloc and Flutter state management

• Experience implementing Flutter navigation with gorouter

• Comfort working with platform-specific iOS Android and web code

• Experience with Freezed Retrofit JSON serialization and code generation

• Ability to write Flutter unit widget and integration tests.

• Excellent communication skills and comfort working in an asynchronous remote environment

• A proactive ownership-driven mindset: you identify problems raise them early and help solve them

• The ability to manage priorities and technical complexity independently
