We are looking for a highly organized energetic self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced work environment and takes ownership in all aspects of their work. The successful candidate will possess outstanding customer service and sales talents multitasking and problem-solving skills and the ability to react with appropriate levels of discretion and urgency to situations or events that require quick response and superb communication. This candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional service and hospitality to consistently exceed customer expectations finding great satisfaction in helping to create a sense of community. They will also demonstrate a strong sense of initiative a collaborative work style and a strong work ethic taking pride in accurate data entry accounting compliance standards reporting and professional work products. This position may require weekend and holiday work. Physical aspects of the job include the ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds standing/walking for long periods of time bending kneeling stooping climbing and balancing.
Objectives of this Role
Serve as a floating Community Director responsible for planning controlling and directing the day-to-day operation of the property and for maintaining effective and harmonious resident relations.
Demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt and effectively meet operational financial and compliance objectives at any assigned community.
Manage to meet corporate financial objectives and protect the value and integrity of the real estate respective of all fair housing requirements and any applicable government agency standards.
Responsible for ensuring all compliance requirements of each assigned property are met.
This role includes but is not limited to personnel training and management leasing collections resident services maintenance oversight budgeting capital improvements accurate reporting and compliance with all applicable laws and company policies regardless of assigned site.
Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate accounting for site-level revenue and expenses including rent collection and timely submission of invoices and bids across assigned communities.
Ensure consistent standards for weekly and monthly reporting maintaining accurate resident files and affordable housing compliance if applicable at each assigned location.
Collaborate to support property marketing strategies consistent with established procedures across multiple communities.
Assist in coordination and updates to advertisements and listings especially via third-party Independent Listing Services (ILS) for assigned properties.
Prepare materials for annual budgets and monitor cost center expenditures and forecasts ensuring adherence to financial targets for each assigned property.

Desirable Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Experience with successfully managing more than one community.
Able to work well under pressure is self-motivated self-directed and able to work with/without direct supervision.
Ability and willingness to travel to various property locations within the portfolio as needed to provide Community Director oversight.
Required Experience
Presently or recently employed with a property management company.
Minimum of 2 years of property management experience.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to exercise quick and accurate judgment and maintain confidentiality
Effective conflict resolution and customer service skills
Ability to set priorities and multi-task with strong attention to detail.
Working knowledge of Yardi and RentCafe.
