Raytheon Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) is seeking a Flight Test Project Lead to join our Flight Test Operations (FTO) Team in support of the Next Gen Testbed a highly modified Boeing 737800 used to develop advanced mission this role you will lead developmental flight test projects from startup through execution and closure ensuring alignment with program cost schedule and performance objectives. You will collaborate with crossfunctional engineering teams to develop requirements support test design efforts and oversee aircraft modification activities that enable safe and successful mission execution.

You will also support proposal development and resource planning while contributing to milestone reviews and execution planning for rapid development addition to Next Gen Testbed responsibilities Flight Test Project Leads support other FTO platforms including our Experimental B727 Raytheon Multiprogram Testbed. This onsite position may be based in Ontario or El Segundo California with occasional travel to flight test integration locations.

What You Will Do

• Own test project budget and schedule including cost forecasting and performance tracking with regular status reporting to the customer

• Coordinate across engineering disciplines (systems electrical mechanical) and functional teams (supply chain quality and security) to meet project milestones for execution

• Assist in development of proposals for new flight test business

• Coordinate integration efforts with aircraft maintenance engineering and operation teams to meet RTX flight test program objectives and customer flight test schedules

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

• Experience working in system development integration and test efforts

• Experience working classified and SAP programs

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience as a deputy or primary Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) Cost Account Manager Earned Value reporting schedule management and developing proposals

• Experience working with Supply Chain and subcontractors

• Effective communication and teaming with senior-level leaders external customers end users and analysts

• Experience in flight test test planning aviation or avionics testing

• Experience working with cross-functional team in dynamic environments

The salary range for this role is 95500 USD - 181700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
