Your Opportunity:

Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press / Print Operating Technician II to join our this role you will set up and operate printing equipment while ensuring jobs meet production quality and safety standards.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Follow detailed job orders and identify and correct potential errors or problems
• Set up and adjust press equipment to meet job specifications
• Monitor product quality throughout production and make adjustments as needed
• Monitor equipment during production and report mechanical issues to maintenance
• Start and run jobs according to the production schedule
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep
• Meet established standards for production output waste and spoilage
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complete production logs and related paperwork accurately
• Operate equipment that may include complex multi-color and multi-process inline equipment and high-speed multi-color digital presses with finishing capabilities

Your Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM Monday - Friday

You Must Have:

• Mechanical and technical skills or aptitude
• Basic math skills including the ability to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization
• Ability to operate equipment to meet established production and quality standards
• Ability to understand verbal and written work instructions
• Ability to communicate professionally
• Strong attention to detail

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand

• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position

• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials

• Frequently required to move inside the facility

• Regularly move up to 25 pounds (lift push pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• Ability to distinguish colors

• Experience in a production-related environment
