Centra Sota Cooperatives vision is to improve lives and create a more vibrant future for farmers families and communities in Central MN. We are seeking a Fleet Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics repairs and preventive maintenance on our fleet of energy delivery trucks feed trucks trailers and light-duty vehicles to ensure safe reliable operation throughout our cooperative.

What Youll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance services and inspections on company vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic and HVAC systems.
• Complete repairs on engines drivetrains brakes suspensions wheel seals and related components.
• Perform DOT inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Move and position trucks and trailers safely throughout the shop and yard.
• Communicate repair status and coordinate equipment availability with operations staff.
• Participate in ongoing training and support a safe team-oriented work environment.

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in diesel heavy equipment or fleet maintenance preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using diagnostic scanners and computer-based repair systems.
• CDL Class A or B (or willingness to obtain).
• Willingness to obtain Hazmat certification.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Valid drivers license and ability to meet Centra Sota Cooperative driver qualification requirements.
