ROLE OVERVIEW:
Knife River is currently seeking a qualified individual to install tracking devices and systems across our company fleet. This role also includes monitoring system functionality to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with Saturday as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational experience or other relevant job requirements)
- Proficiency with computers tablets and Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
- Preferred experience with heavy equipment and construction vehicles (diesel and gasoline).
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work overtime including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Familiarity with Samsara Track-It FleetWatcher and FuelMaster is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (types and extent of knowledge skills or abilities an incumbent must possess to complete the job responsibilities satisfactorily)
- Familiarity with Samsara Track-It FleetWatcher and FuelMaster is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems transmissions and related equipment.
- Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Skilled in the safe operation of hand tools and equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and technical proficiency preferred.
