In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Firmware Development Tools & Infrastructure (70%)

  • Develop and enhance firmware build automation and toolchains
  • Create CI workflows and automated testing solutions
  • Integrate code quality security and static analysis tools
  • Improve source control code review and release processes
  • Document and standardize development workflows


Embedded Firmware Implementation (30%)

  • Develop firmware for next-generation actuator platforms
  • Assist with BSP driver and application software development
  • Debug firmware and support hardware bring-up activities
  • Participate in product validation and testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

For This Role You Will Need:
  • Enrollment in a Bachelors degree program in Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related engineering discipline
  • Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals and problem-solving
  • Experience or coursework in embedded systems development
  • Familiarity with C/C programming
  • Exposure to software development processes version control and debugging tools
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation schematics and data sheets
  • Strong organizational documentation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Experience with:
    • Version control systems (e.g. Git Perforce)
    • Continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Actions)
    • Personal academic or team-based embedded software projects
  • Familiarity with:
    • Embedded debugging tools and techniques
    • Real-time operating systems (RTOS)
    • Static analysis and unit testing frameworks
    • Secure software development practices
